Summary : The story begins when a cash transport vehicle loaded with one million dollars in US dollar bills is attacked and goes missing. The Ryukyu Police, fearing that if the yen-dollar exchange cannot be completed in its entirety, it could develop into a diplomatic dispute between Japan and the US, form a special investigation team to solve the case in secret. Detective Maeda Taichi, who is appointed as the team leader, and Yonaha of the First Investigative Division, who is his classmate but also considers him a rival, and five other members of the team, including Maeda Taichi, a detective, proceed with the investigation within the 18-day time limit, involving Okinawa’s business community, local gangs, and US military personnel.
